This year, a Senate race in Virginia has sparked many Asian Americans into political action. Incumbent Republican Senator George Allen was considered a shoe-in until he made a comment to an Indian-American that was perceived as racist. The comment galvanized many behind the campaign of his opponent, Jim Webb. The question now is: Can Asian Americans swing the vote in one of the country's most competitive races?
