Two Viewpoints on Prop 82: Universal Preschool
There are only two statewide propositions on Tuesday's ballot. The one that has receieved almost all of the attention is Proposition 82. It would raise income taxes on people making $400,000 dollars a year or more and use the money to fund pre-school for all 4-year-old children in California before they enter kindergarten. The money would be used to hire and train teachers and pay for classrooms and programs.
