Next month, the U.S. Congress will hold hearings on reports that companies like Yahoo and Cisco might be helping China control free speech. Last month, Microsoft shut down a Chinese blog run by a researcher for the Beijing bureau of The New York Times. This upsets commentator Rebecca MacKinnon.
