Aid for Torture Survivors in the U.S.
Experts say that as many as half a million victims of torture are living in the United States as refugees from oppressive regimes. Many of those are from Asian countries, like Cambodia, Vietnam and India. And a growing movement is afoot to give these survivors much-needed help for the mind, body and soul.
