LGBT Pride Month Local Heroes
Cassie Blume

Cassie Blume serves as program coordinator for the LGBTQ Youth Space, a program of Family and Children Services of Silicon Valley. Under Cassie's leadership, the LGBTQ Youth Space has been a place of safety and support for hundreds of youth throughout Santa Clara County. With extensive outreach and education services as well as a youth-driven drop-in center in downtown San Jose, the Youth Space offers young people a safe place to socialize, get support from on-site counselors and become empowered to change their community for the better.
