San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art

View Gallery Crawl video of San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art's group exhibition Home Sweet Home from June 8 through July 21, 2007. (Running Time: 4:49)

In June 2007, the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) relocated to their new home on South First Street. The new ICA facilities include a reading room and print center along with three exhibition spaces consisting of two galleries and a project room. If that wasn't enough, their Night Moves program projects digital installations onto their windows during after hours.

In celebration of its new home, the ICA presents Home Sweet Home as their inaugural exhibition. The work by 14 different artists examines different notions of home -- many with a witty sense of humor. The participating artists are Richard Barnes, Mark Bennett, Jim Campbell, Jim Christensen, Stefan Kurten, Lewis deSoto, Doug Glovaski, Young Kim, Cassandra C. Jones, Hung Liu, Oliver Michaels, Long Nguyen, Stephen Sollins, and Catherine Wagner.
