San Francisco's Yerba Buena Arts Center has become quite the bustling arts district, surrounded by SFMOMA, the Cartoon Art Museum, Zeum, the Museum of Craft and Folk Art, and the future sites of the Jewish and Mexican museums. In October 2006, Gallery Crawl chose to highlight a couple of shows in that area along Mission Street including the solo show of work by Robin Ward at the Lisa Dent Gallery and the inaugural exhibit at SF Camerawork's new location.

Gallery Crawl visits San Francisco Camerawork's new location, which opened in October 2006, presenting a group show called Ghosts in the Machine.

Lisa Dent Gallery

In October 2006, Lisa Dent Gallery presents a solo show of work by Robin Ward called The Deluge. Ward's paintings and drawings stylistically and conceptually reference flood myths from various cultures.
