Gallery Crawl visits Odyssey and East of Odyssey, two islands devoted to the presentation of art, installation and performance in the virtual world, Second Life. In Second Life, users create alternate selves or "avatars," which can socialize, buy and sell goods, purchase land, design and build structures and create various forms of art. In October 2007, Gallery Crawl interviewed the avatar Beavis Palowakski, one of the folks responsible for the creation and curation of the Odyssey art spaces.
