We present a special program from The Society of Professional Journalists Northern California Conference, titled "Journalism Innovations." Panelists include Ivan Roman, executive director of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists; Tracy Van Slyke, director of The Media Consortium, a network of the nation's leading independent, progressive media outlets; Joan Walsh, editor in chief of Salon; and Davey D, hip-hop historian, syndicated talk show host and author of a column for the San Jose Mercury News. The panel is moderated by KQED Public Radio's Scott Shafer.
