Homeowners Reminded to Prepare for Wildfire Season

California's insurance commissioner is reminding homeowners to prepare themselves for wildfire season. Commissioner Dave Jones says people in wildfire-prone areas should make sure they clear away dry brush, create a defensible space around their property and review their homeowners insurance policy to make sure they have sufficient coverage.
