New Show 'Okeanos' Explores the Ocean Through Dance
The ocean is at once magical, mysterious and full of life -- and it's the interplay of these forces that makes up the show Okeanos. The show, which premiered Thursday at San Francisco's Herbst Pavilion, is kind of like an oceanic Cirque du Soleil, where dancers and contortionists perform amid breathtaking images of undersea life. Host Mina Kim talks with Jodi Lomask, the show's choreographer and artistic director of the dance company Capacitor, based in San Francisco.
