Yahoo To Discuss New Direction Next Week
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo is making its largest staff cut ever - two thousand people - as it prepares an as-yet-unannounced turnaround effort. CEO Scott Thompson emailed the staff regarding a meeting this Tuesday.

ACT UP Holding Easter-Themed Protests
AIDS activists plan to hold two Easter-themed protests today in San Francisco. Supporters of ACT UP -- the AIDS Coalition To Unleash Power -- will commemorate the 25th anniversary of this brash, in-your-face movement. ACT UP's first protest on Wall Street in 1987 got 17 people arrested, as they demanded faster approval of HIV medicines.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation Protesting Hershey's
The AIDS Healthcare Foundation is protesting Easter sales of Hershey chocolates, over a charity boarding school connected to the company. The Milton Hershey School came under fire after it rejected a young student because he was HIV positive.

"Academic Music" Teaching Math Concepts
Teachers at a school in San Bruno are using a new program called "Academic Music" to teach math concepts.
