Calif. May Re-join Bank Settlement Over Foreclosure Abuses
California is close to rejoining the Department of Justice and other states in backing a settlement with banks over foreclosure abuses. But the state, along with other holdouts, had not joined the settlement by a deadline set for this evening by the nation's state attorneys general. And a deal might not be finalized for days.
'Hacker Dojo' Seeks Funds to Stay Up to Code
A gathering place for computer code aficionados in Mountain View is beginning a fundraising campaign to pay for renovations on its "Hacker Dojo," in order to meet the city's building codes.
