Solar Companies Want Tax Credit Extended
Solar projects benefit from a 30 percent tax credit, but most of the companies developing the projects don?t have enough income to take the deduction. So companies in the Bay Area want Congress to extend a popular renewable energy tax program that expires this year.
Solar Company Goes Bankrupt
Another local solar tech operation is going bankrupt. Solar Millennium, a German company with its US headquarters in Oakland, began insolvency proceedings in Germany yesterday.
