Richmond Council Will Put Soda Tax on Ballot
Last night Richmond's City Council voted to put a tax on next November's ballot, covering sodas, sports drinks, fruit flavored drinks and others. Many who spoke at the meeting supported it as a way of combating obesity and raising revenue; others called it a regressive tax. Facebook Fixes Photo Security Flaw
Facebook says it has fixed a flaw in the system that allows users to see your private pictures, after someone leaked private pictures of founder Mark Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg's leaked photos included a shot of him meeting President Obama.

Sharks Lose, College Hoops, Giants Trade Torres
Hockey, the Sharks lost to the Minnesota Wild, 2-1 College hoops, the Cal men host San Jose State tonight. USF women host Florida. And at baseball's winter meetings, the Giants announced they traded outfielder Andres Torres and relief pitcher Ramon Ramirez to the New York Mets, in exchange for outfielder Angel Pagan.
