Climate Lab to Break Ground In Berkeley
This Friday construction crews will start building a giant supercomputer center in the Berkeley Hills for researchers at Lawrence Berkeley Lab to study climate science and clean energy. But some neighbors are still hoping to stop the project.

LBNL Delaying Decision on Expansion Campus
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is still deciding where to build its expansion campus. Yesterday LBNL announced it would delay its decision from this month to instead sometime early next year. The short list of locations under consideration are in Alameda, Berkeley, Oakland, Albany and Richmond.

In sports, the Niners face the Ravens in Baltimore on Thanksgiving Day. In Men's College hoops, Cal lost to Missouri, 92-53 in the CBE Classic Championship. San Jose State beat Holy Names 109-71. Stanford plays Oklahoma State today at Madison Square Garden in the NIT Season Tip-off semifinals. In hockey, the Sharks host the Blackhawks tonight.
