Labor and religious leaders, along with members of the Occupy SF encampment, are trying to hash out an agreement with city officials over whether demonstrators can remain in the encampment. Mayor Ed Lee left a contentious meeting about an hour into it.

CSU System Approves Yet Another Tuition Hike
Trustees of the California State University system today approved a 9 percent tuition increase. The move marks the ninth tuition increase in as many years.

Calif. Supreme Court to Hand Down Prop. 8 Ruling
The California Supreme Court plans to issue a ruling tomorrow concerning Proposition 8, the voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage. At issue is whether state law allows Prop. 8's supporters to have the legal standing to appeal the unfavorable ruling they received last year.
