One Year After San Bruno, Is PG&E's Pipeline System Safer?

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the natural gas pipeline explosion in San Bruno that killed eight people and destroyed a neighborhood. A recent National Transportation Safety Board report detailed PG&E's culpability in the explosion, citing ineffective inspections and poor record keeping.
Meanwhile, local legislators are proposing numerous bills at the state and federal level aimed at making the pipeline system safer.
