Oakland Considers Doubling Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

Oakland's City Council is currently meeting to consider a proposal to double the number of marijuana dispensaries in the city. Last week, the city's Public Safety Committee passed a measure on to the full Council that would allow the city to permit eight dispensaries -- and would double the permit fee from $30,000 to $60,000 a year.

Host Cy Musiker talks with Oakland councilmember Rebecca Kaplan, one of the unanimous votes in favor of the regulation at last week's committee hearing.
