Supporters of Hikers Detained in Iran Stage Re-enactment
Supporters of two UC Berkeley graduates being held in Iran staged a re-enactment of their daily life today to draw attention to the men's plight. Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal have been imprisoned for almost two years on espionage charges. They were arrested while hiking near the Iran-Iraq border. A third detainee, Sarah Shourd, was released on bail last September.

Laotian-Americans Celebrate New Year, Focus on Health Issues
Laotian-Americans will celebrate the Lao New Year Festival in San Francisco's United Nations Plaza on Saturday. The event will also focus on infections like HIV and Hepatitis B that often go undiagnosed in the Laotian-American community.
