Bridge Composer ... Wells Fargo


Composer Inspired By Golden Gate Bridge
The Marin Symphony is planning for next year's 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge by commissioning Rob Kapilow to write a piece that evokes the structure. Kapilow's gathering input from local residents and plans to incorporate sounds of wind, waves, and foghorns into the work.

Wells Fargo Earnings Jump
The continued economic recovery is pushing San Francisco-based Wells Fargo to higher earnings. Today the company announced a 51% rise in first-quarter income, partly due to more customers opening accounts and taking out business loans. Revenues fell by about $700 million from last year, but profits are up by $1.2 billion.
