AMBER Alert ... Champion Animal Caller

An AMBER Alert that began in the Central Valley has just been extended to the Bay Area as well. The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Monserrat Caracoza, and her child Sebastian, were taken by the father, Pedro Mosqueda. Police are looking for a red, nineteen-91 Honda Civic with the following California license plate: 5VOY539. Anyone who sees the vehicle should call the police.

Fresh off his victory in the youth category of the World Elk Calling competition in Reno, 15-year-old Belmont resident Greg Hubbell is preparing to defend one of his five world championships, in animal calling. KQED's Molly Samuel reports that he holds titles in more species than anyone on earth.
