SFPD Officers Shoot Two Suspects in Two Weeks
Two San Francisco Police officers are on leave today after firing at a knife-wielding man in a wheelchair. Tuesday's incident marks the second time in two weeks the department has come under scrutiny for shooting a suspect. *This broadcast originally stated that three officers were on leave. The police had stated that three officers were on leave at a press conference, but after a follow-up the department confirmed that two officers were on leave after the incident.

Healthy Food Program Targets Expectant Mothers
Two-hundred expectant mothers in the East Bay will get free produce and cooking classes through a new program offered by Alameda County's Public Health Department. It will also encourage existing mom and pop stores to offer healthy food choices in target neighborhoods.
