Utility Inspector Sent PG&E Warning Letter Before San Bruno Explosion

A California safety inspector sent PG&E a warning about problems with its natural gas pipelines 18 months before September's deadly explosion in San Bruno. The warning letter, obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle, told PG&E it was having trouble following federal law requiring special training for workers who check for gas leaks.
