Prop. 8 Appeals Hearing Focuses on a Technical Issue: 'Standing'
Proponents of Proposition 8 are appealing a federal court order to overturn the measure because Governor Schwarzenegger and Attorney General Jerry Brown elected not to. The three judges hearing the appeal expressed doubt that any of those seeking to reverse the lower court decision have the authority to do so.
