SF Mayor Newsom Locked in Tight Lt. Governor Race

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom is locked in a tight race in his bid for lieutenant governor. With about 20 percent of the vote counted, Newsom is ahead of Republican incumbent Abel Maldonado by 45 percent to 44 percent.
