Cleanup Of San Bruno Fire Debris Begins
Crews will begin cleaning up the debris today from the San Bruno gas fire. They want to catch any toxic materials before the rainy season comes, potentially washing it into the Bay. 36 homes were red-tagged after a PG&E pipe exploded on September 9.

Debate Over Possible Hotel In The Presidio
The debate continues over whether developers should be allowed to build a hotel in San Francisco's Presidio. At a tense public meeting last night, the Presidio Trust, which manages the national park, discussed plans for a 100-room lodge-style hotel. The project is still in the planning stages and would have to pass environmental and historical reviews.
