Huge Enrollment Cuts Ahead for CSU System
California State University Chancellor Charles
Reed announced today that the system will cut enrollment
by up to 40,000 students by 2011. That's almost 10

decision is the worst thing he could do. But he says
California's continuing budget crisis leaves him no
choice. We talk to two high school counselors -- one in
Sacramento, the other in Oakland -- about the how the
CSU cuts affect students there.
