Dangers Persist for Young Freelancers
North Korean leader Kim Jong Il today granted a "special pardon" to two jailed California journalists. The announcement came after former President Clinton met with Kim in Pyongyang. Still, with many major news organizations shrinking, young freelance journalists are more likely to be put in harm's way without adequate training or support.
