Governor Calls For Digital Textbooks
Governor Schwarzenegger wants California to be the first state in the nation to offer free digital textbooks for high school students. In promoting the initiative yesterday, the governor called textbooks stale and outdated, and he said the state could save hundreds of millions of dollars every year by moving to digital books.
