Fremont Pennies
Many holiday shoppers worried about the economy are cutting gift budgets and considering alternatives such as charitable donations on someone's behalf. That's the spirit behind a project at Oliveira Elementary School in Fremont. They're pooling their pennies - to help build schools for needy kids in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
