Credit Squeeze Hits Businesses
Both big corporations and small businesses are hurting over the shortage of credit. The interest rate banks charge each other for loans rose for the fourth day in a row today, hitting a new record. In response, short term corporate borrowing fell by the most ever. We look at the credit situation for California manufacturers.
