Asian American Film Festival
The 26th annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival is in full swing with more than 120 films on this year's program. We recently sat down with Chi-Hui Yang, the festival's director and Richard Wong, an up-and-coming filmmaker from San Francisco. Yang says that in the 10 years he's been involved in the festival, the audiences have gotten more diverse and the films have gotten bolder and better. Yang also notes that the opportunities for Asian American filmmakers continue to expand.
