Get the Flash Player to see this player.

The San Bruno pipeline explosion and fire is 12 days old now, but still fresh in the minds of those who lost family members, pets, and their homes. In addition to the staggering task of rebuilding homes and lives and mourning friends and family lost or hurt in the tragedy, they need to recover their own sense of well-being. Host Cy Musiker talks to UC-San Francisco psychiatric nurse Laurie Barkin about the long road ahead for many blast survivors. She's the author of The Comfort Garden: Tales from the Trauma Unit."
