The focus of the response to last week's San Bruno pipeline disaster shifted to Washington, D.C., today, as California Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer joined with the Obama administration to propose increased federal oversight of pipelines. Meantime, investigators continue to inspect the pipe involved in the blast and sift through the public filings of pipeline owner PG&E for clues about the facility's condition before it blew up. Host Kelly Wilkinson discusses the latest developments with Paul Rogers, a reporter with the San Jose Mercury News and managing editor of KQED's Quest science and environment program. He's been reporting on the disaster and its aftermath.
