San Bruno Fire Sparks Wave of Generosity

The San Bruno gas fire has also sparked a tremendous wave of generosity. The Red Cross has arranged for two local churches to receive physical donations. Local spokesman Steve Sharp says cash donations are always welcomed, and volunteers are not currently needed. But, Sharp suggests that willing volunteers get ready for the next disaster. The two local churches are: the Church of the Highlands at 1900 Monterey Road; and the San Bruno United Methodist Church, at 560 El Camino.
