What caused the San Bruno gas fire? Some residents have said they complained about a smell of natural gas in the days, and possibly weeks, before last night's deadly explosion. This morning the president of PG&E says the utility is looking into those claims. Fire officials say the gas fire is now 75 percent contained. Thirty-eight homes were destroyed, seven significantly damaged and many more have superficial damage. Four people are known dead, 52 have been injured and sent to hospitals.
