St. Mary's Students Watch Debate
Last night's Senate debate was hosted by St. Mary?s College in Moraga, and students who won the lottery to be in the audience, including first-time voters, watched it with great interest.
MUNI Union Wants Service Restoration Put On Hold
San Francisco transit drivers are fighting plans to restore service that was cut back in May. Union officials are accusing management of unfair labor practices by not discussing the restoration with drivers. MUNI managers say they still plan to bring back about 60% of the services that were cut, starting on Saturday.
