Initial Reactions to Prop. 8 Ruling

Reactions are beginning to come in across the state to Judge Vaughn Walker's ruling that California's Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in 2008, violates the U.S. Constitution. In a statement, Governor Schwarzenegger said the decision "affirms the full legal protections and safeguards I believe everyone deserves."
