San Carlos to Outsource Police Services
The peninsula city of San Carlos is moving ahead with plans to outsource its policing. The City Council voted 4-1 last night for city staff to begin talks with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, for that agency to provide law enforcement services to the city. San Carlos' mayor joined the majority last night in approving the disbanding of the police force.
