Supreme Court Decisions Have Bay Area Impact
The U.S. Supreme Court made three decisions
today which have a big impact in the Bay Area. The
court ended a challenge to San Francisco's universal
health care program by denying review. It also ruled
that Hastings Law School can legally deny recognition to
a student group -- the Christian Legal Society --
because it won't let gays join. And the court held that
Americans have the right to own a gun for self-defense
anywhere they live.
