One of our nation's foremost chroniclers of the western experience, Wallace Stegner was a beloved novelist, teacher and conservationist. Forum speaks with author Philip Fradkin about his new biography, "Wallace Stegner and the American West." Also joining the show is Elizabeth Ptak, associate director of the Marin Agricultural Land Trust -- an organization helping to host a literary conference in Pt. Reyes from March 7-9 devoted to Stegner and his concept of "the geography of hope."
