First Person: Sandy Close
Veteran journalist Sandy Close joins us in the studio as part of our First Person series, showcasing the innovators and leaders and others who make Northern California unique. Last week, the former MacArthur fellow was honored with the prestigious George Polk Career Award. Close is executive director of New America Media, the country's first and largest national collaboration and advocate of ethnic news organizations.
