'Whistling Vivaldi,' Fighting Stereotypes
"Stereotype threat" pervades American life, according to social psychologist and former Stanford professor Claude Steele. That is, being in a situation where a negative stereotype about your group could apply. Steele joins us to discuss his book, "Whistling Vivaldi: And Other Clues to How Stereotypes Affect Us."
