Download audio (MP3)

A site used to grow salt for the past century at the western foot of the Dumbarton Bridge may be developed, providing up to 12,000 housing units. Proponents argue that the community is much in need of additional affordable housing. But opponents are calling for the site to be restored to tidal marsh.

Host: Michael Krasny
