App Helps Shoppers Avoid Toxic Toys

Dangerous levels of lead in children's toys could give new meaning to the term "Black Friday." There are a number of places to find out about toxic toys. But what if you're already in the store with cash in hand? Well as they say, there's an app for that. Jeff Gearheart with HealthyStuff.org worked with California Poison Control this year to develop an automated system for helping shoppers check lead levels in toys while they shop.
